Welcome to my ePortfolio. I am Dr. John K. Duah, Assistant Professor of Health Services Administration at Auburn University. My work focuses on maternal and child health, infectious disease surveillance, health systems strengthening, and public health preparedness and response. I leverage epidemiology and health policy analysis to address healthcare disparities and expand equitable access to essential health services.
Having successfully completed my third-year review, I remain committed to creating meaningful, student-centered learning experiences in all my courses. I currently teach Healthcare Management and Leadership – Writing Enriched (HADM 4000), Health Care Policy (HADM 3300), and Medical Terminology (HADM 2100). In these courses, I strive to equip students with practical tools and applied insights to help them navigate real-world challenges in the healthcare sector.
Outside of academia, I enjoy traveling with my family and engaging in community outreach to improve lives and help create thriving communities for families.
